MIRROR COATING:

Mirror Coatings not only help you look your best but also safeguard your eyes from harmfull visual elements of everyday life; such as glare, ultraviolet light and infrared light. The world looks better to you....and you look better to the world.

Select the mirror coating you want then add a tint percentage from the tinting chart provided above. The tint you select will be applied to the inside of the lens, (where you look out) and the mirror is applied to the outside of the lens. The darker the tint you use inside the lens, the the more the mirror effect you will get on the outside. We suggest using Gray 70% or Brown 70% for the best results.
Please Note:

Be sure to give us both the color of your tint and the color of the mirror you want when ordering (e.g. Brown 70% / Green Mirror).

ULTRA COATING / UV400 PROTECTION: For Plastic Lenses Only; An Ultraviolet filtering lens treatment that protects your eyes against harmful UV rays. Excellent for computer operators, anyone who works outside in sunlight and anyone taking photosensitizing drugs. Helps prevent eye diseases related to exposure, such as solar retinitis and corneal dystrophies. Add $19.00 for each pair

 

POLISHED EDGES:

Makes thick lenses appear thinner. Looks great with rimless or metal frames. Add $20.00 for each pair

 

INDUSTRIAL THICKNESS:

Protects eyes against flying objects, industrial hazards, etc. Good for sports activities; lenses are somewhat thicker and stronger. Add $10.00 for each pair.

INVISIBLE / PROGRESSIVE LENSES

Look younger and see better with invisible progressive lenses with no lines! Whether you have always worn glasses, or are just getting started, progressive bifocals are the completely natural way to meet your changing vision needs. You will enjoy excellent vision at all distances (even the hard to focus "midrange" between distance and reading) and you won't experience the old style "bifocal jump". Prism Optical guarantees that you will love these lenses, or we will replace them with any bifocal you desire. Even if you have never worn bifocals before, you will love Invisible Progressive lenses! Available in Plastic, Glass, Trilogy and Polycarbonate lenses .

POLARIZED LENSES

Will effectively diminish glare from surfaces such as water, snow, sand and glass. Glare is everywhere, an annoying visual obstacle for anyone who enjoys the outdoors but is especially troublesome for drivers and sports enthusiasts. Whether the glare emanates directly from natural sunlight or off reflective surfaces, ordinary sunglasses only reduce brightness but do nothing to remove the harmful glare. Polarized lenses improve your vision by reducing the glare and eliminating the damaging effects of UV light. Consequently, details are sharper, contrast is enhanced and colors are brighter, deeper and richer. Available in Single Vision, Flat-Top 28 bifocals, Invisible Progressives bifocals and Flat-Top 7 x 28 trifocals.

POLYCARBONATE (SUPER-THIN / SUPER-LITE)

Lenses are thinner than conventional (plastic) lenses, about half the weight - and virtually unbreakable. With a 1.0 mm center for nearsighted prescriptions, or a 1.0 mm edge for farsighted prescriptions, it is one of the thinnest lenses available. For nearsighted prescriptions, Polycarbonate Super-Thin / Super-Lite lenses also feature special rolled and polished edges for a diamond-like finish. Please note: if you are ordering a rimless frame, the edge thickness will be slightly thicker to insure that your lenses remain secure. A “full” frame is recommended for the best (and thinnest) results. Available in Single Vision, Flat-Top 28 & 35 bifocals, Invisible Progressive bifocals, Flat-Top 7 x 28 and 7 x 35 trifocals.

TRILOGY

Lenses are a remarkable combination of superior optics, combined with thin, lightweight comfort plus the durability and protection of a safety lens. They feature a 1.0 mm center for nearsighted prescriptions, or a 1.0 mm edge for farsighted prescriptions - plus a built-in scratch resistant coating and 100% UVA and UVB protection. Available in Single Vision (Clear or Transition Gray), or Invisible Progressive bifocals (Clear or Transition Gray).

 

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON EYEWEAR SAFETY:

Trilogy or Polycarbonate lenses are much safer than conventional lenses (glass or plastic). The use of a Polycarbonate or Trilogy lens is highly recommended for all children's glasses - and also for any active eyeglass wearer, especially those playing sports such as racquet ball, baseball, or any other sport involving high impact objects. Based on your occupation, hobbies and the sports you play, you may also need to select the proper frame to allow the maximum protection for your eyes.  TRANSITIONS^®

Are“changeable” lenses that are great for indoors or outdoors use. They quickly adjust from a very light tint indoors to a darker tint when stepping outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: We must have a copy of your current contact lens prescritpion signed by your doctor, in order for us to send you lenses. If you like, we can call your doctor to obtain it, but he is not obligated to give it to us.

• Unopened boxes or vials may be returned within 30 days, unless the manufacturer policy for your lenses states otherwise.
• Defective, opened vial products must be returned within 7 days for exchange.
• Non-defective boxes or vial products, which have been opened, are not returnable.
